Toyota Unveils Groundbreaking Electric Vehicle Battery:10 Minute Charging Time And 900 Mile Range

The biggest auto vehicles maker company  Toyota announced to spend more than 13.6 billion dollars on research and development of new technology in vehicle batteries and also uplift battery manufacturing and supply chain to meet the market demands on time. So recently company plans to improve the Evs and replace old technology with new solid-state batteries, which are quite different from old batteries.  The new batteries are much better because they can make a car travel up to 900 miles without needing to recharge.

Toyota set a target of 2025 to start new battery production which will increase the number of cars’ efficiency by about 20 % more on a single charge. The company also claims that new batteries will help to 50 % more mileage and decrease the charging time.

While the Japanese automaker led the industry in the technology of hybrid gasoline-electric hybrids, it is working hard to bring its first all-electric vehicle lineup to market next year. The company said it wants to slash the cost of its batteries by at least 30%, primarily by looking for lower-cost materials and a more efficient way to structure its battery cells.

“For the vehicle, we aim to improve power consumption, which is an indicator of the amount of electricity used per kilometer by 30%, starting with the Toyota bZ4X,” said Chief Technology Officer Masahiko Maeda, citing a new compact SUV expected to be launched soon. This breakthrough in battery technology by Toyota will make EVs more efficient and better than ever before, giving people more reasons to use electric cars instead of traditional ones.
