NURETTIN SÖNMEZ Expressed His Love With Pakistani Fan In Interview

Nurettin Sönmez is a Turkish actor and martial arts teacher. He is best known for his role as “Bamsı Beyrek” in the historical series Diriliş: Ertuğrul which is the most hit TV show nowadays. Every Muslim around the globe leaves all other TV dramas and spends most of their watch time on  Ertuğrul, same can be seen in Pakist

It is not a normal thing when we talk about the Pakistani audience’s love for Ertuğrul actors, on the other hand, actors also show the same. Even now they appear in so many Pakistan marketing commercials and other events. In a recent interview with local media Nurettin Sönmez, aka ‘Bamsı Beyrek’ who got his popularity from Ertuğrul show his love with Pakistan audiences and said he feels Pakistan as his 2nd home. His personality is so wonderful, friendly and full of fun and joy.

He is a child of an immigrant family. His mother is an Albanian immigrant. His father, Ümit Sönmez, is a dentist.^[3] Nurettin Sönmez graduated from Istanbul University Mining Engineering Department. He then went to the Dialog Communication Acting School of Can and Arsen Gürzap and graduated from there. Later, he studied theatre at Yeditepe University.

Hello, Nurettin Tell us a little about yourself.

Well, it is my pleasure to talk with someone who belongs to Pakistan. My birth city is Istanbul and spends most of my time there.  Here I have a number of friends cause we all live here like family. 

Telle little About Your Personal Like Education, Is your love to do acting, cause you also an Art teacher.

I always love to be child and never die my child inside me. In my childhood i was game lover which still maintain till.

With what motivation did you want to be an actor? Did you find what you hoped? What is the hardest part of fame?

“WHAT IS FAME? DO YOU REALLY LIVE YOUR LIFE BY YOUR MIND? DO YOU REALLY COMPROMISE EVERYTHING LIKE SUCCESS, BEAUTY, POWER, ETC. ? WHETHER YOU’RE AN ACTOR, A TEACHER OR A PARENT, JUST BE YOURSELF – ONLY THEN YOU CAN REALLY DO ANYTHING WITH LOVE AND PASSION.”

what kind of roles do you see yourself doing in the future? As Pakistani audiance know you from Ertuğrul

I have number of plans in acting and people will see me in different  roles like Police man which wil give me chance to show my abalities of acting. and My fans will also like to see me in other life roles rather than a fighter.

Any chance of a collaboration with the Pakistani entertainment industry? Any favourite Pakistani actors you’d love to share screen space with?

Sönmez started his acting career in 1999 with the Akşam Güneşi series, in which he shared the lead role with Serdar Gökhan, Pelin Batu and Sumru Yavrucuk. He started to attract attention with the character of Gaddar Ali, which he portrayed in the series Osmanlı’da Derin Devlet, published in 2013. Since 2014 he has become well known with the character of Bamsı Beyrek in the series Diriliş: Ertuğrul and its sequel Kuruluş: Osman. Yes I had the honorable chance which I am grateful for. Both the actors and actresses are good looking with their own amazing talents.

 In your view, why do you think the show resonates with the Pakistani audience? Would you like to give the Pakistani audience a message? 

‘Bamsı Beyrek’ is very powerfull and very learning role for me. It is very hard simple but yet very beautifull and wast charactor. Pakistani and audiance aroubnd the world love this TV show because  all islamic fighter show very passiona and heart efforts in their roles. All the actors work from their souls and show great body language.

When you are by yourself, as Nurettin, what makes you happy, what excites you the most, what occupations make you feel good?

In my lonly time i enjoy my self and come in nature enjoy the trust form, tlking with natural things like tree air water. Yes it is me. But if I have someone with me like my love one then I feel true love and pleasure. that is all I need.

How do you define your personal style and what’s your go-to favourite piece of clothing.

“FASHION IS A FAKE THING FOR ME I THINK BUT ENJOYABLE AND COLOURFUL.” I always not lock my self in dressing and fashion icone as i told above i love to be very simple and natural so i love cloth which give you comfort feel.

What’s next for Nurettin Sönmez? Anything your fans here in Pakistan should look forward to?

“A NEW SERIAL IS ABOUT TO HIT THE TV SCREENS THIS YEAR – ANOTHER CHANCE TO TOUCH THE HEARTS AND FEEL THE LOVE OF THE AUDIENCE. LOTS OF LOVE, HUGS AND KISSES FOR MY FANS.”
