Wasim Akram Named Among Australia’s Multicultural Ambassadors

Wasim Akram, the fabulous cricketer, has been appointed as one of Australia’s 54 multilateral ministers for a two- time term. This advertisement was made through a sanctioned press release by Cricket Australia. Alongside Akram, other notable ministers include India’s Ravi Shastri and former cricketers Russell Arnold from Sri Lanka and Aminul Islam from Bangladesh.

These ministers hail from different backgrounds and retain experience in colorful fields similar as government, business, sports, media, and community work. The Ambassador Program is a pivotal part of Australian Justice’s Multilateral Action Plan, which aims to unite prominent numbers from different sectors to promote diversity and encourage positive changes within both the sport and the wider community.

Australia’s Test nature Usman Khawaja, incentive Fawad Ahmed, leader Scott Boland, and former women’s cricketers Lisa Sthalekar and Mel Jones are also included in this prestigious minister program. These individualities represent colorful sectors including the public and private sectors, community groups, media, and justice itself. The ministers will support the Multicultural Action Plan’s five crucial focus areas participation, high performance, people and representation, dialogue and involvement, and event and experience. Their places involve encouraging lesser participation in justice,

perfecting performance situations, icing different representation, fostering dialogue and engagement, and enhancing the overall experience of justice events. By bringing together influential numbers from multiple sectors, the Ambassador Program aims to produce a further inclusive and different terrain in Australian justice and the broader community. This action reflects Cricket Australia’s commitment to promoting multiculturalism and supporting positive social change through the sport.
