Vanar Blockchain Organizes a 3-Day Hackathon to Accelerate Adoption of Web3 in Pakistan

24 participants in 8 teams pitched at the 3-day hackathon organized in partnership with Web3 Pak at the BIGGEST tech conference in Pakistan.  Vanar Blockchain organized its first-ever event in Pakistan at Future Fest 2024. The 3-day web3 hackathon received huge interest from students and tech enthusiasts interested in web3 and blockchain technologies. Starting with 15 teams, the final event had 8 shortlisted teams that pitched ideas on real estate tokenization to NFT marketplaces. Participants were provided extensive mentorship and guidance before their final pitch to a houseful audience on the 28th of February at the Future Fest, Expo Centre, Lahore. The event was attended by notable people in the Pakistani blockchain space as well as students from universities across Pakistan. 

The winning project, Blockyards, aims to revolutionize real estate, making property ownership via web3 tokenization accessible to all. The runner-up was BlockLock, a project that introduces a smart lock system that is defining the future of digital security with customizable features. Vanar Blockchain’s spokesperson, Irfan Khan says that this is the first of many to come under their aim of providing opportunities to the talented Pakistani youth.
