Ramiz Raja reacts after Pakistan confirm spot in final four of T20 World Cup
Pakistan advanced to the semi-finals of the Twenty20 World Cup with a five-wicket win over Bangladesh on Sunday at the Adelaide Oval, led by fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi’s career-best figures of 4-22.
Pakistan achieved their target of 128 with 11 balls to spare in Adelaide, joining archrivals India in the final four from Group 2.
The Netherlands defeated South Africa by 13 runs early this morning, giving Pakistan one last chance to qualify for the semi-finals, which they did after defeating the Bengal tigers.
Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja tweeted on his social media account after Pakistan’s victory over Bangladesh and reaching the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.
