PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja to travel England today for ICC, MCC meetings

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja will travel to England today for International Cricket Council (ICC) and Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) meetings. 

The MCC members are scheduled to meet on July 15 and 16 to discuss cricket matters and the future. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and former New Zealand Test cricketer and current head coach of England team – Brendon McCullum will also attend the meeting. 

PCB boss is expected to meet Ganguly, McCullum and other former counterparts on the sidelines of the MCC meeting. 

Before Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, ICC Cricket Committee’s annual meeting will take place from July 23-26. Ramiz Raja will be accompanied by CEO Faisal Hasnain. 

Future Tours Program (FTP) and a free window for the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be on the meeting agenda. 

PCB chief will look to will take a stand against the expansion of the IPL window. He will also try to move the talks forward with regard to his annual four-nation tournament.
