Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan ‘Mohsin-e-Pakistan’ passes away

One of the great nuclear scientists Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan passed away this morning after spending panic time in hospital. Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan is also known as the father of Pakistan’s nuclear program and acknowledged as a hero for building the Muslim world’s first atomic bomb.

His health started deteriorated Saturday night, after which he was shifted to KRL hospital on Sunday morning. According to his family, he was facing problems in breathing, he was brought to the hospital by ambulance and start treatment immediately but his health continually getting worse plights and end at his death when his lungs started bleeding.

The administration is making arrangements for shifting his body to his E-7 residence, after which an announcement for the nuclear scientist’s funeral is expected to be made.
