Deepika Padukone adorns necklace with ‘Fi Aman Allah’ engraved on it
Padukone sported a retro chic look with a printed beige Mysore silk shirt featuring a digital rendering of hand-painted vintage flora inspired by Company paintings made by the Sabyasachi Art Foundation. The full sleeves silk shirt was teamed with a pair of contrasting baggy green pleated wool trousers. To complete the 90s look, she wore a matching silk hair band that pulled her hair back.
Coming to the most hyped accessory, the Padmaavat actor paired the western attire with the Lucknow Rose – a deconstructed Maharani necklace that was crafted with extensively sourced multi coloured gemstones and uncut diamonds. On a closer look at the necklace, the hefty piece has an Arabic prayer statement, “Fi Aman Allah,” which means ‘In God’s Safety’ written on one of the stones.
