Hot pot or hotpot, also known as soup-food or steamboat, is a cooking method that originated in China. A heat source on the dining table keeps a pot of soup stock simmering, and a variety of Chinese foodstuffs and ingredients are served beside the pot for the diners to put into the hot stock. It has a history of more than 1000 years, and China is regarded as the home of hotpot. Totoro’s hotpot was very well-received ever since their opening. The clean aesthetics of the location with consistent taste and good quality premium products have helped build quite a hype for Totoro. Located on a rooftop space in D.H.A, this is the more elevated version of a hot pot offering, owing to its ingredients and ambience.

Known for its various cuts of meat, this restaurant also offers a few types of broths – a Mongolian, a spicy Sichuan, an extra spicy Sichuan and another known as the Haroon special.

Hot Pot Karachi

Hotpot Karachi offers a blend of both – the perfect ambiance and delicious taste. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch with colossal portions and serving. Brownie points for their customer service is extraordinary, which makes for one of the most accommodating staff.

This popular entity has now opened a restaurant space on the rooftop of Nueplex in D.H.A. Offering both indoor and outdoor seating, it’s the better option to cater to large parties. This would also be my recommended eatery to use to for home-catering events. They offer two types of broths – clear and spicy Szechuan. Their focus is on fresh ingredients and a flavorful meal in a hygienic environment and they definitely deliver that. In addition to the usual raw ingredients, they have a delicious peanut dip, and a sesame-chili one, for extra flavor to go with your meat or vegetables. This is highly recommended. This meal is too priced at about Rs3,000 per person.

Novu Resturent

Most recent entery in food industry Nova is located Gulberg, Lahore. Most exciting thing is aside from regular menu you can customize your meal as per your choice.  you can choose to make your own meal with a pot of bubbling broth and ingredients such as chicken, prawns, ramen, chili oil, and even dumplings with fillings of your own choice. 

Cocochan

Cocochan essentially offers a hotpot night at their Tipu Sultan outlet, only on Tuesdays. The restaurant mainly serves Thai, sushi, and mandarin food but you can also enjoy a customized serving of hotpot every Tuesday night.

With Burmese and Schezwan broths to choose from, protein such as beef, chicken, and prawns, and a wide variety of fresh vegetables, noodles, and sauces, resturent staff also giude you about different options as they are very well trained and professional for hotpot customization as per Pakistani people like and dislike in food.
