Acting Prowess To Bring Tamgha-e-Imtiaz For Sajal Ali

Pakistani TV star Sajal Ali, who is well famous due to her extraordinary acting skills and multi-talent has won the “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” by President Arif Alvi at Pakistan Day.

Aly received several accolades including five Hum Awards and was considered one of Pakistan’s highest-paid actresses.^[4] She began her acting career with Geo TV’s comedy Nadaaniyaan in 2009 and later on appeared in a breakout role in ARY Digital’s drama Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain in 2011.

Aly has done a variety of work and is best known for her portrayals of Dr. Zubiya Asfandyar in Yaqeen Ka Safar (2017), Momina Sultan in Alif (2019), Noor-ul-Ain Zaman in Yeh Dil Mera (2019-2020) and Rabia Safeer in Sinf-e-Aahan (2021) all of which her performance was better received.

On August 14, the president announced a total of 694 Civil Awards including Nishan-e-Imtiaz (7), Hilal-e-Pakistan (2), Hilal-e-Shujaat (1), Hilal-e-Iimtiaz (26), Hilal-e-Quaid-i-Azam (18) Sitara-e-Pakistan (1), Sitara-e-Shujaat (20), Sitara-e-Imtiaz (60), President’s Award for Pride of Performance (70), Sitara-e-Quaid-i-Azam (3), Sitara-e-Khidmat (4), Tamgha-e-Shuja’at (24), Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (458).

As per the official press release the civilian award was presented to Sajal for her extraordinary service in the form of acting, and set new path ways for new actors.
